i am an afghan american born in santa cruz, raised between portland and the bay area, and shaped by all the places in between.

i graduated from the university of oregon with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, where i learned to view the environment not only as something to protect, but as something to listen to. my passion for filmmaking and photography is rooted in that belief that art, like nature, has the power to move people, shift perspectives, and inspire care.

through my work, i hope to intertwine ecological restoration with the magic of music and photography, creating spaces where creativity becomes a form of healing, remembrance, and renewal.
